Best things about this cover:

  • She looks excited about the possibility that it will get very rough, indeed.
  • Her posture looks demure, but her hands?: holding a sledgehammer.
  • That dude's butt and jaw are all kinds of wrong.
  • Is there a difference between a trouble and a tribulation?
  • That red is horrible. Pus + blood.

Best things about this back cover:
  • Where is a picture?
  • Oh good. I love a good human frailty war.

Page 123~

Beverly's five minutes were up, and she latched herself onto a new guy. She was showing this guy her arm. She told him that he should know she bruised very easily. So he then made a determined effort to see if he could do a better job with the other arm and maybe break it for her.

Remember when co-ed Fight Clubs were popular? Me either.

It seems to be that time of month for Lady Red as insinuated by her "oops" askance look and the eerie "red flow".

Also, is it "...frustrations that drive them from girl to girl..." or good ol' fashioned pride and lust?

How rough can it get? --- apparently rough enough for a miscarriage!

The guy looks like his shorts have ridden up and he's trying to, nonchalantly, pull them down. He also has a withered right leg, poor guy. Maybe that's where his sexual troubles and tribulations stem from?

"...which turns the city into a battleground of human frailty, with no holds barred."

It's kinda like West Side Story, only with arm breaking and sex. Hungry frustrated sex!

Ah, yes, I remember the sexual troubles and tribulations of my young manhood -- and that is exactly how I would stand after an especially difficult tribulation.

I think a tribulation is a junior-league trouble.

How can we ever know how rough it can get when this edition is abridged?????
