- Bigfoot finds draft of wife's letter to mystery man named "Conrad." Clad in his best suit and class ring, he sets out for revenge.

- Somebody forgot to adjust-left
- This is about the worst front/back cover work I've seen in one of my books. I know nothing about the book and have no desire to read it.

"Oh," Mrs. Grelly gasped. "Oh—" A fleshy, ringed hand came out from the enveloping folds of her coat. She clutched the policeman's arm and went away unsteadily. Lieutenant Peabody came back to Laura.
I assume the hand was her own. It's hard to tell.

This looks truly appalling. And it's abridged. (And now I sound like the 'Such bad food! And such small portions!' joke.)
Gross. I've been known, from time to time, to be a hand girl. I like a man to have nice hands. Why? People often ask. This cover is exhibit A. No one wants to be touched by a hand like that.
The hand was fleshy and ringed, but was it hairy?
"Honey, who do we know in Murder? Oh, it must be from your mother!"
I wish not agree on it. I assume nice post. Specially the title attracted me to be familiar with the unscathed story.
Easy for you to say.
And to my son, Harry, I bequeath the sum of ten thousand dollars, on the condition that he never shaves his hand again.
"Mignon G. Eberhart"? Surely you jest.
